Introduction: Exercise using the play exercise method is an important aspect that must be carried out by children's developmental disorders or delays which will be useful for increasing motor development such as the ability to stand. This method is important in an intervention approach that promises to include elements of cognitive, motor and sensory support. Objective: to find out the benefits of exercise using themethod play exercise with standing motor development in children with developmental delays. Methods: Single subject research conducted on a child aged 23 months with developmental delays. Subjects were given exercise using themethod play exercise for 4 weeks which was carried out 4x/week andcarried out follow-up measurements werein the middle of the study of motor development and muscle strength. Results: Evaluation of motor development measurement using the DDST instrument. Baseline obtained early motor development of standing with grip. The results increased after being given exercise and evaluated at the end of the study by getting motor development to be able to stand independently for 3 seconds. Conclusion: Based on the results of studies that have been carried out, themethod play exercise which was applied for 1 month on the research subjects aged 23 months there was an increase in gross motor development such as the ability to stand.
